Akram began his academic journey at Algeria’s top École Supérieure d’Informatique, building a strong foundation in computer science. A final-year project at Télécom SudParis introduced Akram to natural language processing and sparked a lasting interest in AI.

After earning a Master’s in Data Science and Analytics in the UK with distinction, Akram has taken on a number of diverse roles — from AI and NLP development to cybersecurity and freelance e-commerce — each deepening his understanding of tech’s real-world impact.

Akram’s PhD focuses on forecasting and language technologies, with a clear goal: to create intelligent tools that serve people and drive meaningful change.

In my own words…

By blending advanced analytics with an understanding of society, I hope to create tools that not only predict outcomes but also help communities, policymakers, and organisations make better decisions for the common good.
