Vuk Dinic

Vuk was drawn to academic study because he wanted to understand how society functions. It turns out that no one knows, because humans are too complicated. At the same time, Vuk realized that old research techniques can’t follow the massive amount of data we have now, so he decided to start utilizing machine learning in his research.

Vuk’s PhD explores how innovative trustworthy tools can be used to increase society’s political participation.

In my own words…

While AI dominates the conversation today, it's mostly framed in a business context—which is fine, but not enough. We need to start applying the technology we already have to solve real-world problems and help more people.
